A solemn ceremony of taking the Military Oath by conscripts took place in the N military unit of the Border Guard Troops of the RA National Security Service. The event was attended by Deputy Director Aram Hakobyan of the RA NSS, the leadership of the Border Guard Troops and other officials.

The solemn ceremony began to the sounds of the RA anthem.

The main protocol part of the symbolic event - the solemn ceremony of taking the oath - took place under the battle flag on the parade ground of the unit. The conscripts read out the text of the Military Oath, swore before their commanders and parents to serve the Motherland with selfless devotion, proudly and selflessly, to defend the country’s borders with honor, to unconditionally carry out the orders of their superior commanders, assuring that they would do everything possible to ensure the security of the state border.

In connection with the oath-taking ceremony, parent Araksya Babayan congratulated the conscripts on behalf of the conscripts’ parents.

The commander of the Border Guard Troops of the RA NSS, congratulating the conscripts, noted that the of taking the oath towards the motherland and family taking the military oath is a unique ceremony of expressing unwavering devotion to the homeland and family, and from this moment the real service to the homeland begins.
