Protection of the state border is one of the main directions of the RA National Security Service activities. In a very short period of time, with funds allocated by the RA Government, border outposts were built that meet modern requirements.

In the N-detachment of the Border Guard Troops of the RA National Security Service, to the sounds of the RA anthem, the solemn opening ceremony of another border outpost “Nerkin Khndzoresk” took place.

First Deputy Commander - Chief of Staff of the Border Guard Troops of the RA NSS Colonel Edgar Hunanyan, on behalf of the Director of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia and the leadership of the Border Guard Troops, congratulated the military personnel on serving at the newly built outpost and noted that reliable protection of the borders of the Motherland is one of the most important directions of ensuring national security, adding that the newly built border outpost is provided with modern equipment, weapons, logistics and other necessary supplies.

The leadership of the Border Guard Troops inspected the officers' housing at the newly built outpost and became familiar with the living conditions of the military personnel, which fully comply with modern standards: the housing is equipped with the necessary property and equipment for the families of border guard outpost officers.

At the end of the visit, on behalf of the leadership of the RA NSS, the officers serving at the outpost of the Border Guard Troops were given appropriate instructions.
