Ceremony of Taking Military Oath by Conscripts Took Place in Border Guard Troops of RA NSS (photographs)
A solemn ceremony of taking the Military Oath by conscripts took place in the N military unit of the Border Guard Troops of the RA National Security Service. The event was attended by Director of the RA NSS Armen Abazyan, Deputy Directors Aram Hakobyan, Andranik Simonyan, First Deputy Commander - Chief of Staff of the Border Guard Troops of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia Colonel Edgar Hunanyan, representatives of the regional subdivisions of the RA National Security Service and others.
The ceremony began to the sounds of the RA anthem.
The main protocol part of the symbolic event - the solemn ceremony of taking the oath - took place under the battle flag on the parade ground of the unit. The conscripts read out the text of the Military Oath, swore before their commanders and parents to serve the Motherland with selfless devotion, proudly and selflessly, to defend the country’s borders with honor, to unconditionally carry out the orders of their superior commanders, assuring that they would do everything possible to ensure the security of the state border.
In connection with the oath-taking ceremony, Naira Ghazaryan congratulated the conscripts on behalf of the conscripts’ parents and addressed the conscripts with a motherly word.
“My children, my son, we are proud that, having joined the ranks of the Armenian army, from today you have become its devoted defenders. We hope that you will fulfill your duty as a defender of the Motherland with honour, that you will be disciplined and exemplary soldiers, and that you will fulfill the requirements of the Military Oath. We, parents, are confident that you will hold high the honor of your parents,” N. Ghazaryan noted in her speech.
Director of the RA National Security Service Armen Abazyan, congratulating the conscripts, noted in his speech: “I am sure that each of you is well aware of the importance and significance of the oath in the life of a serviceman. It is the basis of the honor and dignity of a serviceman, selfless devotion to the Motherland, and honest and conscientious performance of official duties.
I am confident that by continuing to serve in various units of the Border Guard Troops, with your vigilance you will make your native borders stronger and more impregnable, and with your conscientious and disciplined service you will contribute to the high mission of ensuring the security of the state border of the Republic of Armenia.
Remember that your patriotic service is one of the important guarantees of ensuring peaceful coexistence and creative work of our society.
I congratulate you on this day of special significance and meaning, I wish you unbending will, safe service and a good return to your families.”
The solemn ceremony of taking the oath ended with a parade of conscripts.
