A solemn ceremony of taking the military oath by recruits took place in the N military unit of the Border Guard Troops of the National Security Service of RA.

The event was attended by the Deputy Director of the NSS of RA Major General Aram Hakobyan, Commander of the Border Guard Troops, Colonel Arman Maralchyan, 1st Deputy Commander-Chief of staff of the Border Guard Troops, Colonel Vahram Aleksanyan, representatives of the regional divisions of the RA National Security Service and others.     

The solemn ceremony began to the sound of the RA anthem.

During the ceremony, a solemn parade was held, and the recruits sang the anthem of the Border Guard Troops of the NSS of RA.

The main protocol part of the symbolic event - the solemn ceremony of taking the oath - was held under the battle banner on the parade ground of the military unit. The recruits read out the text of the Military Oath, swore before the commanders and parents to serve the Motherland with selfless devotion, proudly and selflessly, with honor to defend the borders of the country, unconditionally follow the orders of higher commanders, assuring that they would do everything possible to ensure the security of the state border. 

The Commander of the Border Guard Troops of the NSS of RA, Colonel Arman Maralchyan, congratulating the recruits on the memorable day, wished them a peaceful and safe service: “I congratulate you on this day of special significance and meaning. I wish you good health, strong will, cloudless sky, good service and good return to your homes."

At the end of the ceremony, conscripts demonstrated special tactics and hand-to-hand combat techniques, and the Cynology Center demonstrated combat exercises with service dogs to detect explosives, neutralize and detain the border violator.
