From 18 to 22 March, colonel Samvel Azizyan, deputy commander of the Border Guard Troops of the NSS of the RA on personnel and educational work, visited the Academy of the Federal Security Service of Russian Federation and the Kurgan Border Institute of the Federal Security Service of Russia Federation, where cadets from the Republic of Armenia study. The leadership of the Academy and the Border Institute presented the base of educational materials, the organization of training process, educational work, living conditions and leisure time to colonel S. Azizyan.
During the meetings important agreements were reached on a number of issues relating to the training and life of officers and cadets of the NSS of the RA.
“Our meetings were held businesslike, at the same time in a very warm, friendly atmosphere and in the spirit of mutual understanding and trust. I am confident that the agreements will be successfully implemented.” said colonel S. Azizyan.
Let us remind that in order to ensure the recruitment of Border Guard Troops the National Security Service of the RA, education of the residents of the RA is organized in Academy of Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation, Kaliningrad and Kurgan Border Guard Institutes. During the period of the study the cadets are provided with a dormitory located on the territory of the universities, free food and scholarship. After graduating from the Academy of Federal Security Service and Kurgan Border Guard Institute, the graduates get lawyer qualifications and graduating from Kaliningrad Border Guard Institute, the graduates get engineer qualification after which they start their service as officers in Border Guard Troops of the NSS of the RA.
