The cases of violation of border regime are unacceptable
On October 12, at 08:45am, Alaverdi resident A. S. (born in 1982) and Yerevan resident A.M. (born in 1964) who were detained for entering the borderline and breaking the border regime without the appropriate permission of the border guards who protect the state border in village of Chochkan, Lori region in the Armenian-Georgian border. They had been hunting there and had legally registered hunting rifles.
After compiling the relevant protocols, the servicemen of the Border Guard Troops of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia handed over the defendants to Tumanyan Police Department of Lori Region for further investigation and clarification of the circumstances of the illegal activity.
The Border Guard Troops of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia exhort the citizens to refrain from the cases of the violations of the border regime and remind once more that the Armenian law prohibits the hunting in the borderline.
