On July 10, the leading staff of Pushkino border detachment visited a summer camp, where the students of Vanadzor orphanage were resting.

Border guards held a discussion on "The choice of profession is the choice of future" during which the children talked about the orientation of choosing this or that profession. Among the pupils of the orphanage there were also those who had already decided to become border guards. One of them was the third year student, 17-year-old Tigran Shatanov of Military and Sports College named after Monte Melkonyan. Teenager was inspired by various stories about the difficult, but honorable service at the border, and visits to border subdivisions. Tigran also expressed a wish to continue his education in one of the border institutes.

After an active discussion pupils played intellectual games with border guards and at the end of the busy day they had dinner together.

Assistance and support of border guards to orphanages are aimed at military-patriotic upbringing. Periodical, purposeful work among teenagers is for professional orientation of the choice of profession.
