Pupils of "Zatik" Center visited Sardarapat Museum with the assistance of border guards
On May 29, the servicemen of Border Guard Troops of the NSS of the RA organized a tour for the pupils of “Zatik” Children Assistance Center of the Ministry of Labor and Social Issues of the Republic of Armenia in Sardarapat National Ethnographic Museum. Realizing the importance of the problem of military-patriotic upbringing of the rising generation and the deep familiarization with national culture and history, Border Guard Troops continue to closely cooperate with “Zatik” Children Assistance Center and always organize various cognitive activities for the pupils.
In Ethnographic Museum, the pupils were told that the main purpose of museum is to preserve all the materials, concerning to May battle. The central hall, devoted to May events as well as the history of the first Republic of Armenia, was presented. The children got acquainted with the archeological samples of Armenian history, from tools of bronze century up to XX century clothes and carpets, which allows perceiving craft development and peculiarities of Armenian lifestyle in different periods.
Military-patriotic upbringing creates psychological and moral readiness to serve in the army and defend their own country. Solution of that problem partly promotes the visits to historical museums and military places. Such important visits enlarge the children's knowledge on the history of their own nation.
Getting a lot of positive emotions, the children were extremely happy.
Border Guard Troops will continue to closely cooperate with Yerevan Zatik Children Assistance Center and implement new events aimed at patriotic, aesthetic and moral upbringing of the rising generation.
